Attention new ASU Student Publications Staff
Your first responsibility is to read the following:

Only currently enrolled, full-time students may be considered for paid staff positions with Student Publications. The editor in chief of The Appalachian, or the editor of any future student publication must have a cumulative 2.25 grade point average and maintain a 2.25. All associate editors, copy editors, beat reporters, photographers, and graphic designers for The Appalachian must have a cumulative 2.25 grade point average upon application and maintain a 2.0 grade point average. No one on academic probation may serve in any capacity with any student publication.

Once you have read and understand the above, you must submit the New Staff Agreement form below, signifying that you have read and understand all these materials, including the GPA policy. You may not receive payment for any Student Publications work until you have done so.

I have read and understand the Student Publications Policies, staff manaul and Media Board bylaws, including the ACP Code of Ethics.

I understand that paid staff members must be registered and maintain a 2.0 GPA. In order to validate my application, it is necessary for the Director for Student Publications to check my GPA and ASU ID number.

By submitting this New Staff Agreement form, I am signifying I have read and understand all these materials including the GPA policy. I understand that I may not receive payment for any Student Publications work until I have done so.
